The Kapuskasing Economic Development Corporation is the municipality's primary vehicle for promoting economic growth. The Kapuskasing EDC is responsible for business development, business retention and expansion, and entrepreneurial support.

Who we are

The Kapuskasing EDC is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to business development.

We meet our mandate by engaging in the following activities:

Undertaking business retention and expansion initiatives
Promoting Kapuskasing as an ideal business location
Attracting new businesses to the community
Responding to investment inquiries
Facilitating the business development process
Providing information on incentive programs
Attracting and retaining youth
Assisting with funding proposals
Gathering market intelligence

What we do

From site selection data, information on government grants, loans and services to market research and networking opportunities, we are a one-stop source for the most up-to-date and relevant information on Kapuskasing.

The Kapuskasing EDC will help you connect with the decision-makers, identify and link you with potential funders, help you network with partners and allies, and connect you to educational and training resources. We will bring you together with the people and expertise you need to succeed.
