Kapuskasing Internment Cemetery
The Kapuskasing Interment Cemetery was established in 1914, during World War I. This cemetery is a burial site for internees, prisoners and civilians who were associated with the Kapuskasing's Internment/Prisoner-of-War Camp. This newly restored and renovated Internment cemetery stands as a permanent reminder of the injustice of internment in Canadian history.
This cemetery is located on the south side of Government Road West, east of the Kapuskasing Airport.
For more information on the Kapuskasing Interment Cemetery please visit the Ron Morel Memorial Museum located at 25 Millview Road, open May to September.
