Citizen Recognition Program

The program was introduced in 2022 by the Town of Kapuskasing to formally recognize and award citizens who contribute to our community and/or who have exemplified a strong sense of volunteerism, civic pride, and commitment toward the betterment of the community and to promote the spirit of civic awareness and pride, the Town of Kapuskasing hereby established a Citizen Recognition Program with the stated purpose of identifying and recognizing individuals who make a difference in enhancing and improving the quality of life in the community.  A ceremony to recognize these individuals or groups is held every two years.

The public was invited to submit names of citizens that are deserving of recognition throughout the year for Council and the selection committee to select.
